Spectre PosterWhen "Skyfall" earned $1 billion at the box office, not only did it prove that the James Bond franchise was far from dead by being the highest grossing movie in the series, it raised the stakes for whatever comes after. So, even though it’s still filming, it’s not a shock that MGM and Sony are starting the marketing campaign as early as possible for "Spectre." And today, the first teaser trailer is here.

This what we know so far: Daniel Craig will be impeccably dressed as 007; Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Monica Bellucci, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Ben Whishaw, Andrew Scott, Naomie Harris, Stephanie Sigman, and more will appear in supporting roles; and the movie will once again see the secret agent in exotic locales, saving the world from peril. Here’s the official synopsis:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
