A longer version of the international teaser for “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes” has arrived and it’s basically the most expensive PETA ad ever produced.
Starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Andy Serkis and Brian Cox, this newest trailer spends its first half almost as a remake of “Project Nim,” as Caesar lives and plays with humans. But not everything remains peachy as one day he freaks the fuck out and surges out of the house to beat the shit out of somebody who dared to yell at this surrogate Daddy played by Lithgow. But this cannot stand and Caesar winds up living in horrible conditions with some other apes under the ruthless care of Cox and the next thing you know riot police are involved.
