Finding work is practically a job unto itself, but finding work when you’re nearly seventy years old is a task that would even stymie Ethan Hunt. Robert De Niro is faced with the impossible mission in the upcoming comedy "The Intern," and a new trailer has dropped for the workplace comedy.
The latest from comedy veteran Nancy Meyers ("What Women Want," "Something’s Gotta Give"), the story follows a senior who decides to intern at a hip fashion site run by none other than Anne Hathaway. So yes, it’s kinda the plot of that "Seinfeld" episode. Here’s the official synopsis:
In “The Intern,” De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
