For a brief moment in the early 1990s, David Lynch was arguably at the most popular height of his career, captivating TV audiences who tuned in with this perfectly odd and surreal “Twin Peaks.” It’s hard to believe a show like that ever got greenlit, let alone nearly twenty years ago when network TV was still king of the hill. Hell, even “The Simpsons” referenced it. But after two seasons and a movie it was over, leaving fans to puzzle forever over its mysteries. But they’re about to get a whole lot more.

Coming this summer is “Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery,” a box set that will feature the full run of the series, “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” and on yeah, 90 goddamn minutes of deleted and alternate scenes from the movie. Lynch may not be making movies at the moment, but this is the next best thing. And to promo it, EW has the trailer which highlights a lot of that missing material, which looks pretty terrifically restored, and it will certainly give devotees a lot to dive into.

“During the last days in the life of Laura Palmer many things happened, which have never been seen before,” Lynch stated. “They’re here now alongside the new transfer of ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me’ and ‘Twin Peaks,’ the television series.”
