It’s got a tarp over it, the photo is in black and white and most of the vehicle is covered, but director Zack Snyder lit up Twitter today with a quick teaser photo of the new Batmobile from his upcoming tentpole “Batman Vs. Superman.”
Could be time to pull the tarp…Tomorrow? http://t.co/Nmm0QqWYYH pic.twitter.com/E6iKluZNDj

As you can tell from the photo, it looks suspiciously similar to the Batman Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” series—at least from the back it does (though it looks like it has a spoiler). That would make sense though. Nolan borrowed the design from Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns” graphic novel and a big element of the “Batman Vs. Superman” dynamic—the fact that they are at odds with one another ideologically—will be exploited in Snyder’s film. So the proper reveal could be tomorrow as Snyder says, or who knows, maybe later this week.
One thing’s for sure, all producers and filmmakers behind big tentpoles and blockbusters realize photos leak. With “Batman Vs. Superman” said to be a month away from filming, don’t be surprised if the filmmakers try and contain the narrative by revealing what Ben Affleck looks like in the Batsuit soon, probably on the cover of some glossy magazine like Entertainment Weekly. And don’t worry if that’s early, something else will turn up at Comic-Con too. “Batman Vs. Superman” comes out May 6, 2016. Keep your eyes peeled later in the week.
