This morning, the fall festival season got its first dose of excitement, with the Toronto International Film Festival unveiling their initial slate of what will end up being over 300 films. So there’s a lot to talk about.
And that’s just what I did, jumping on the phone with Brad Brevet at Rope Of Silicon to discuss the films that we were surprised to see in the lineup, the others that missed out, and what we’re eager to check out in Toronto in September. And with World Premieres slated for Ridley Scott‘s "The Martian" and Jean-Marc Vallee‘s "Demolition" among others, it’s going to be a heckuva 40th anniversary for the fest. Take a listen below.
