‘Never Change!’ Trailer: John Reynolds, Sofia Black-D’Elia & More Are Forced Back To High School In Hulu Comedy

Hulu’s Tribeca-bound comedy follows a class forced to finish high school years after a tornado cut senior year short.

Graduation is supposed to be a line in the sand. For the characters in “Never Change!,” it turned out to be a very long pause. Hulu has debuted the trailer and key art for the new comedy film, which sends a group of former classmates back to the site of their unfinished senior year nearly two decades after a natural disaster derailed their final stretch of high school.

Written by and starring John Reynolds, “Never Change!” centers on the graduating class of North Meadows High School, whose senior year was cut short in 2008 after a disastrous tornado. Now in their mid-30s, they are forced to return home and finish high school once and for all, with old flames, unfinished business, and second chances turning a nostalgic do-over into something closer to a nightmare.

The film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 9, 2026, before premiering on June 17, 2026, on Hulu and Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S., and on Disney+ internationally.

Reynolds leads the cast alongside Sofia Black-D’Elia, Carmen Christopher, Jo Firestone, and Gary Richardson. The ensemble also includes Rudy Pankow, Topher Grace, Jackie Cruz, Ana Gasteyer, Patti Harrison, Zach Cherry, and Maria Thayer.

“Never Change!” is directed by Marty Schousboe and produced by Nicholas Hatton and Jason Woliner for Swindle, Jon Watts for Freshman Year, Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps for American High, Billy Rosenberg for All Things Comedy, and Jason Zaro. Molle DeBartolo serves as executive producer, with Axelle Azoulay as co-producer and Matt Sacca as associate producer.

High school reunion comedies usually trade on memory, embarrassment, and the soft ache of roads not taken, but “Never Change!” gives that premise a more absurd shove: what if the people who barely survived adolescence had to go back and complete the assignment?

“Never Change!” premieres June 17, 2026, on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S., and on Disney+ internationally. Watch the trailer below.
