‘Silo’ Season 3 Trailer: Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Returns As Apple TV’s Sci-Fi Drama Digs Into The Before Times

Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols as Season 3 expands the Apple TV drama into the origins of the silo.

Apple TV has unveiled a new trailer for “Silo” Season 3, and the timing is not incidental: the streamer’s dystopian hit is returning just as the story opens up beyond the walls that have defined it. The 10-episode third season premieres July 3, with one new episode arriving every Friday through September 4.

Created by Emmy winner Graham Yost and based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, “Silo” has spent two seasons turning underground survival into a system of control, suspicion, and selective memory. Season 3 continues that story in the present while also moving centuries into the past, revealing the origin story behind the world that trapped 10,000 people beneath the surface.

Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols, who survived her forced “cleaning” but returns with memory loss as the silo attempts to recover from the rebellion and faces a new threat. That is a blunt place to re-enter the series: Juliette has already broken through one layer of the lie, but Season 3 seems positioned to test whether survival is enough when the truth itself keeps changing shape.

The new season also expands the scope through the “Before Times,” where journalist Helen Drew, played by Jessica Henwick, and Congressman Daniel Keene, played by Ashley Zukerman, uncover a conspiracy with catastrophic consequences. It is a smart structural pivot for the series: after two seasons of mystery from inside the bunker, Season 3 appears ready to show how that mystery was built, who benefited, and what had to be buried to keep the system alive.

The returning ensemble includes Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, and Clare Perkins. New and returning Season 3 players include Zukerman and Henwick, who appeared in the Season 2 finale, along with Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, recurring cast member Colin Hanks, and the returning Steve Zahn.

Apple has already renewed “Silo” for a fourth and final season, so Season 3 is not just another chapter—it is the start of the endgame. The series has always worked best when its mystery is tied to procedure: rules, rituals, jobs, screens, buried records, and the punishments that follow anyone who asks the wrong question. With Juliette back inside the machine and the “Before Times” story now moving into focus, the show has a clearer path to answering what the silo is, why it exists, and who decided that the truth was too dangerous to survive.
