Netflix has released the official Part II trailer for “Bridgerton” Season 4, teeing up the back half of the fairy-tale-inspired season as Jess Brownell’s latest chapter returns on February 26 with episodes 405–408. This season centers on bohemian second son Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton, still resisting the marriage path his family expects—until a masquerade ball hosted by Lady Violet becomes the kind of night that rearranges a person’s life. Benedict is instantly captivated by a masked “Lady in Silver,” a figure who hits him like a story he’s been waiting to walk into. But “Bridgerton” doesn’t leave that yearning in the ballroom. As Benedict—with help from sister Eloise—tries to uncover the mysterious woman’s identity, the show pivots to the reality behind the glamour: his heart’s desire is actually Sophie Baek, a resourceful maid played by Yerin Ha, working under the watch of the formidable Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung).

The twist is a cruelly simple one, and the season leans into it: Sophie and the Lady in Silver are the same person. Benedict is pulled between the romance he’s projecting onto the masked ideal and the woman standing in front of him, with society’s rules insisting those can’t be reconciled. The question Part II sharpens is whether his blindness—emotional and class-based—will break the connection before it becomes real.

Around Benedict’s story, the season also draws energy from the evolving marriages of his siblings, including Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and John Stirling (Victor Alli), and Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan), as she adjusts to the complications of being a now-public gossip columnist.
