Jennifer Lawrence stars as Grace. Her performance is already receiving praise after screening at Cannes. The actress serves as producer along with cinematic icon Martin Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood, Justine Ciarrocchi, Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, and Molly Smith.
Robert Pattinson offers up the perfect complement to Lawrence, starring as Grace’s partner Jackson. ‘Die’ gives the actor a chance to work with Ramsay, something he commented on during the project’s Cannes press conference. “When you trust your director so much… you create an aura on set where you’re being led in the direction,” he told attendees from outlets including The Hollywood Reporter. The film also features standout work from LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek.
The film’s official synopsis:
“A hopeful young and loving couple (Grace and Jackson) move from New York to an inherited house in the country. Grace tries to find her Identity with a new baby in the isolated environment. Yet as she begins to unravel, it’s not in weakness but imagination, strength and a stunning untamed vivacity that she discovers herself anew.”
