How do you survive when the bills are piling up and there’s a hungry baby to feed? Margo discovers a way to keep going in the Apple TV series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.” The young woman finds herself using a popular social media platform to stay afloat. ‘Troubles’ sees David E. Kelley serve as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. It is an adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s novel of the same name. Kelly previously worked with Apple TV on an adaptation of Scott Turow’s novel “Presumed Innocent.”

Kelley stays close to home for the series, casting his real life spouse Michelle Pfeiffer as Margo’s mom. Margo is portrayed by Elle Fanning. The actress drew praise for her recent role in the sci-fi hit “Predator: Badlands.” Nick Offerman, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, Lindsey Normington, and ‘Troubles’ executive producer Nicole Kidman round out the cast.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is a bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them. The series also stars Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden, Oscar and Emmy Award-winner Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.
