Who took one of the Vietnam War’s most haunting images? “The Stringer: The Man Who Took The Photo” attempts to answer the question. This critically acclaimed documentary examines the origins of a famous photograph, known to many as “Napalm Girl.” The heartbreaking image shows the horrors of war through a young girl’s suffering. For decades, rumors have circulated about its photographer. ‘Stringer’ follows conflict photographer Gary Knight’s search for the truth. Knight and a team of journalists put together a compelling argument that will leave viewers questioning who should be credited.
Oscar and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Bao Nguyen helms the documentary. Nguyen’s previous work includes the documentary “Greatest Night in Pop,” which examines the creation of the 1985 charity hit “We Are The World.” He is also set to direct a project about legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix.
