Are Poppy and Alex about to discover a surprising romance? Long-time friends are rethinking their relationship in “People We Meet on Vacation.” The pair spends summer vacation together each year, but something is different this time. Everything will lead to the question they’ve both overlooked for a decade. ‘Vacation’ is an adaptation of Emily Henry’s New York Times best-selling novel of the same name. It’s also the author’s first to get the cinematic treatment.
Tom Blyth and Emily Bader star in the upcoming film. Blyth gained attention for his performance in 2023’s “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.” Bader starred as Lady Jane Grey on the well-received drama series “My Lady Jane.” Henry is among those eager to see the on-screen duo. “I watched their chemistry read four times in 12 hours, and I loved it more every single time,” she told TUDUM. “The very first time I was laughing out loud, and I got so emotional by the end.”
