Can Pip resist a challenging new mystery? “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” returns for a second season. This time, Pip faces a surprising disappearance while dealing with Hastings’ impending trial. She’ll set aside lingering promises as her skills adjust to new tests. The upcoming season is based on the Holly Jackson novel “Good Girl, Bad Blood.” Jackson revealed she joined series creator Poppy Cogan to write this adaptation. “I am BEYOND thrilled that we can continue Pip’s story and, this time, I’m writing on the show!” Jackson said in a statement to TUDUM.

Fans will be happy to know that many of their favorite cast members are back. Emma Myers reprises her role as Pip. Zain Iqbal, Asha Banks, Yali Topol Margalith, Jude Morgan-Collie, and Henry Ashton also return for the forthcoming season. Newcomers to ‘Good Girl’s Guide’ include Eden H Davies and Freddie England.
The series’ official synopsis:
“After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip (Emma Myers) is determined to fix the fallout – and stay away from any more investigations. But as Max Hastings’ (Henry Ashton) trial approaches, Connor’s (Jude Morgan-Collie) brother Jamie (Eden H Davies) suddenly disappears, and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.”
Jackson and Cogan serve as executive producers with Matthew Read, Simon Crawford Collins, and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures, as well as Lucy Richer, Danielle Scott-Haughton, and Katherine Bond for the BBC. Moonage Pictures produces “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo. The anticipated second season arrives May 27 on Netflix.
