It’s time for a return trip to “Rutherford Falls,” as Peacock’s hit comedy is coming back for a much-anticipated second season. Set in a small town, the series follows two friends as they navigate complexities with laughter and sincerity. “Falls” also goes beyond comedic tropes and harmful stereotypes, drawing praise for its portrayal of Native Americans.
Ed Helms and Jana Schmieding once again lead the outstanding cast. Notable among the performers is actor Michael Greyeyes. The veteran actor made his star turn in “Wild Indian” last year at Sundance 2021 and also appears in the upcoming “Firestarter” remake.
In addition to his starring role, Helms co-created the series with Sierra Teller Ornelas and Michael Schur. For Teller Ornelas, there’s no shortage of excitement about the upcoming season. “’Rutherford Falls’ is back! Get ready to laugh, cry, and swoon. Do people still swoon?
