'Still Up' Trailer: Two People Bond Over Shared Insomnia In Apple TV+ Comedy Series

Can two insomniacs find romance with one another? The new Apple TV+ series “Still Up” follows two sleepless singles as they try to keep their feelings at bay. This self-described almost romantic comedy comes from co-creators Steve Burge and Natalie Walter. Burge previously wrote several episodes of the comedy “The Amelia Gething Complex” while Walter finds her first series writing credit with the new project. “Still Up” also looks towards a BAFTA award nominee to helm the project. John Addis makes his series directorial debut, having previously directed several well-recevived shorts.

The series finds two talented actors, Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts, for its leads. Thomas will be recognizable to viewers of “The Good Doctor,” portraying Dr. Claire Browne. Roberts himself made an impression with his performance in Richard Ayoade’s acclaimed film “Submarine.” Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston ,and Rich Fulcher also star in the series.

The series’ official synopsis:

“Still Up” is an almost romantic comedy set in the after-hours world of insomniacs Danny (Roberts) and Lisa (Thomas) who have no secrets except their feelings for each other. Also starring in the ensemble cast are Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston and Rich Fulcher.”

Insomnia and romance collide in the comedy series “Still Up.” The first three episodes premiere on Apple TV+ on September 22. New episodes are added weekly until October 27. Watch the trailer below.
