Can Jake and Neytiri’s family finally find peace? The Na’vi heroes face a surprising new villain in “Avatar: Fire & Ash.” This highly anticipated third ‘Avatar’ film sees beloved characters moving on from the Metkayina’s oceanic paradise. They soon encounter a violent clan that goes far beyond anything they have seen before. Led by the brutal Varang, these new antagonists promise a visually stunning battle that lives up to the name ‘Fire and Ash.’
Legendary filmmaker James Cameron is once again directing. He reunites with ‘Way of Water’ co-writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver for the screenplay. The entire ‘Avatar’ franchise is a defining moment in Cameron’s already impressive filmography. He will also helm “Avatar 4” and “Avatar 5.”
‘Fire & Ash’ features a mix of returning actors and new additions to the cast. Zoe Saldaña portrays the courageous Neytiri, with Sam Worthington again taking on the role of soldier turned Na’vi patriarch Jake. New to the cast is Oona Chaplin. Her performance as Varang promises to be a highlight of the upcoming film. Other notable names appearing in the film include Giovanni Ribisi, Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, David Thewlis, Edie Falco, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, and Jack Champion.

“Jake and Neytiri’s family grapples with grief after Neteyam’s death, encountering a new, aggressive Na’vi tribe, the Ash People, who are led by the fiery Varang, as the conflict on Pandora escalates and a new moral focus emerges.”
