Conflicting And Confusing Details On Miranda July's New Film Emerge

A one sheet for Miranda July’s next film has been posted on the French Mk2 film website, and it sorta appears that the title of the film has reverted from “Satisfaction” to an now untitled one?

Or maybe they’re trying to confuse us. The page does say, the original title is “Satisfaction,” as previously reported, but the poster says, “Untitled Project.” Perhaps it was made before she had settled on a title, we’re anal about those kinds of confusing and contradictory details though.

Ok, regardless, a real log-line has appeared that gives more info than the non-info previously reported.

“Sophie and Jason live together in their happy, crazy and poetic world. One day when wandering in a Crafts Bazaar, they buy the portrait of a little girl made by her own father, Sophie falls in love with the latter, and their lives are turned upside down.”

We weren’t even sure that the film was shot. It was supposed to go in front of cameras in late August/ early September, but it appeared as though nothing happened since the other principal cast members were never reported (which is odd), but the Mk2 site says the film is 90 minutes. Does that mean its cut and edited or is that just an estimate? Why are people teasing us so?

To make matter worse, IMDB now says the film has a “green” bent to it and their synopsis says, “a young couple’s relationship is put to the test when one of them embarks on an ecological mission.”

Will the real Miranda July please stand up and tell us what’s going on? Please and thanks and or if you have any real info about this film, please email us. We don’t care how precious, “Me And You And Everyone We Know,” is to some viewers, we loved it.
