'Taco Bell' Dog Wins The Box-Office Again: We Should All Be Frightened

“Beverly Hills Chihuahua” won the box-office derby again this weekend, besting Ridley Scott’s “Body Of Lies,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. Ok, Scott’s movies wasn’t the best in the world, but what is wrong with you people! In another show of lowest-common denominator retardedness, the base-numbered “Quarantine” took the number 3 spot

Does this scare you? It terrifies us frankly. If the country is willing to vote for this kind of unimaginative tripe imagine what kind of President they’re willing to put into office. Seriously, if you care for your country, are undecided and are appalled by the box-office choices this weekend, the correlation is obvious and you know what to do. Do the right fucking thing.

Reuters: Among new limited releases, British director Guy Ritchie’s latest gangster movie, “RocknRolla,” earned a solid $141,000 from only seven theaters in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto.

Pundits are saying that Scott’s movie appearing to be an Iraq-War film (even though it’s clearly not), and audiences apathy for that topic were part in parcel why the film couldn’t open at the top spot – that and the economy is being blamed as well for moviegoers staying away from “grim” looking subject matters. Bury your head in a seven layer burrito!
