Umm, I think he just did. Which is amazing considering how horrified we were when we first heard about it. “It’s going to have some of the funniest people around in it, and it’s going to be really funny, I hope,” Jonah Hill told MTV on Friday (May 16). “Or we won’t make it! If it doesn’t turn out funny, I promise you, we will not make it.” God if only Hollywood could make and then keep that promise all the time. But Hill makes a charming argument (or he’s just charming and we have a man-crush).
Apparently he turned down the role in “Transformers 2” and he tries to be all modest about it, but truthfully it sounds like he didn’t want to be part of that stupid film and thank god for that. Hill even has an idea for Johnny Depp to do a cameo in ’21’ if it happens, but he’s skeptical that it’ll happen. “We have an awesome thing for Depp, if he’ll do it,” Hill enthused. “I don’t know if he will or not, [but] it’s going to be rad!”
