The ‘Now You See Me’ franchise has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide. The first two films starred Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman, among others, with Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt joining as a new generation of illusionists. Rosamund Pike also stars in the franchise’s third installment, “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” which has completed principal photography and will be released theatrically on November 14, 2025.

Bobby Cohen, who originally developed and produced all the series’ films, will return to make the new installment alongside Alex Kurtzman of Secret Hideout. Meredith Wieck will oversee the project for Lionsgate.
“Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way,” Adam Fogelson, Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group Chair, said in a statement. “We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and [are] thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us.”
“Directing ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’ was as much fun as making any movie in my career,” Fleischer added. “It combines two of my favorite things—heist movies and magic—and working with this incredible cast was truly magical. Of course, I want to keep it going.”
Fleischer’s most recent film before “Now You See Me 3” was “Uncharted, which took in over $400 million worldwide. He also directed “Venom,” which grossed over $850 million globally. Fleischer’s debut film “Zombieland” was a hit at the box office and remains a cult classic in the modern zombie cannon.
They’ll steal a billion dollars right before your eyes again, right? We’ll find out soon enough this fall when “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” arrives in theaters.
