A tiny bit old in terms of web ages. This international trailer for Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” went up online late last week. It’s… more of the same, and not that much different than last time. “Pirates Of The Caribbean” adventure tentpole, but played for just as silly laughs? For the Johnny Depp/ Disney movie, the pratfalls and slapstick family stylings were fine, but a lot of dorks probably are still hoping this is going to be something darker. If only. Robert Downey Jr. is swinging for the fences and missing by miles? His terrible accent has already been discussed, but this one is starting to venture into the unintentional comedy realm. The trailer aside, does RDJ seriously look good in this to you? It’s like he’s having a hard time keeping a straight face while delivering his lines.
