We Weren't There: The 'I'm Not There' Dylan Concert

Old news, we know.

We weren’t there unfortuntately. We were in Mexico on vacation (if you haven’t heard already for the 4th millionth time). And sadly one of our own lost someone that night and couldn’t post a review [ed. more than understandable, our deepest condolences]. But we’ve cobbled together some of what we heard of the various folked that covered Bob Dylan tracks (some of the reports are actually subpar and some complained about audio problems, who knows we can’t say since we weren’ there, but this one says, ‘meh‘. EW has a less editorialized recap.). More importantly, glidemagazine has some audio from the show (see below) and YouTube has sprung a few live clips. We do think it was pretty rad that actor Marcus Carl Franklin was there to sing his track from the soundtrack and “I’m Not There” film. Heath Ledger and director Todd Haynes did some introductions as well.
