D-Day for the “Watchmen” case. Will the matter finally be settled today? Thing are apparently still, “close” to being resolved. A new court filing was submitted yesterday and “the parties are continuing to address a few remaining settlement issues.” Essentially it’s almost over. Fox and Warner Brothers have requested a hearing on January 15, 2009 at 3:30 pm “to report on a final resolution or, alternatively, to discuss how to proceed on January 20, 2009.” [FilmEsq/Vulture]
