‘Maximum Truth’ Trailer: Ike Barinholtz & Dylan O’Brien Are Grifters In The Political Landscape

Can two grifters outsmart an already tainted political landscape? “Maximum Truth” lands as yet another satire about the constantly mocked sector. This time, two men are joining forces to beat a congressional candidate; their unscrupulous methods prove to be business as usual — with an unsuspecting public ripe for deception. It’s a perfectly timed critique, as questionable actions seem to hit the headlines on a daily basis.

The mockumentary’s star, Ike Barinholtz, is credited as co-writer on the project and also acts as producer. Barinholtz recently appeared on Hulu’s special event “History Of The World: Part II” in addition to the HBO series “White House Plumbers.” “Maximum Truth” represents a reunion with ‘World’ writer David Stassen — who co-wrote as well as directed ‘Truth.’ The pair are joined by Dylan O’Brien. The actor gained a new set of fans with Taylor Swift’s short film “All Too Well;” prior to the short, his most notable appearances included “The Maze Runner” trilogy. Blake AndersonBrianna BakerBeth GrantMax MinghellaMark ProkschTony RodriguezKiernan Shipka, and Tiya Sircar round out the cast.
