Andie MacDowell has joined the cast of the “Footloose” remake. You’re excited! Directed by Craig Brewer (“Hustle & Flow”) the film stars Dennis Quaid and relative newcomers Kenny Wormald (“Center Stage: Turn It Up”) and Julianne Hough (“Dancing With The Stars”) who are the two teen leads (Chace Crawford and Zac Efron dropped out months ago). Matthew Lillard (“Scream”) and Coen brothers regular Jon Polito (“Barton Fink,” “Hudsucker Proxy” “The Big Lebowski” and Johnny Caspar, the Italian gangster in “Miller’s Crossing”) have joined the cast of indie project “From the Head.” The feature debut of writer-director George Griffith, the film is loosely based on Griffith’s experiences as a bathroom attendant in a New York City strip club in the mid-’90s.
