The frontier bleeds again in “Frontier Crucible,” a rugged new Western thriller from Travis Mills, arriving in theaters and on digital December 5, 2025. Based on Harry Whittington’s novel “Desert Stake-Out,” the film promises a dust-caked blend of revenge, survival, and violent redemption set against the desolate Arizona wilderness.

The story follows Merrick Beckford, played by Myles Clohessy, a lone frontiersman charged with leading a wagon full of medical supplies through hostile Apache territory after a devastating attack. With the odds stacked against him, he’s forced to team up with a trio of dangerous outlaws — played by Thomas Jane, Armie Hammer, and Ryan Masson — in a desperate bid to finish the journey alive. But when the group kills an Apache scout, their fragile alliance collapses, and survival becomes a brutal test of endurance and morality.
The cast also features Mary Stickley, Eli Brown, Eddie Spears, Zane Holtz, and William H. Macy, rounding out the ensemble.
