‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Trailer: Jon Hamm’s Suburban Thief Faces A Dangerous New Neighbor In Season 2

The quiet desperation of suburban wealth gets another crack in the façade. Apple TV has released the official trailer for season two of “Your Friends & Neighbors,” the darkly comic crime drama created by Jonathan Tropper and starring Jon Hamm, which returns April 3.

The sophomore season of the series picks up with Andrew Cooper (Hamm) continuing to juggle the increasingly precarious double life he built in the first season—wealthy suburban dad by day, reluctant burglar by necessity. That balancing act becomes even riskier in season two when the arrival of a mysterious new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and put his family in danger.

Joining the show this year is James Marsden, who plays the enigmatic newcomer next door, a presence that complicates Cooper’s already unstable arrangement. Returning cast members include Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan.

The new season will run ten episodes, premiering globally on April 3, 2026, with one episode debuting that day and new installments rolling out weekly through June 5.

Created by bestselling author Tropper, who also serves as showrunner, director, and executive producer through his Tropper Ink banner, the series continues to explore the uneasy intersection of affluence, desperation, and moral compromise. Hamm also executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas, and Stephanie Laing, who directs six episodes.

Even before the new season arrives, Apple has already signaled confidence in the show’s future—“Your Friends & Neighbors” recently secured an early renewal for a third season.

Season two appears to escalate the central tension that powered the first outing: the idea that the glossy suburban dream is sustained by secrets, envy, and the quiet competition between neighbors who know far too much about each other.

And now, with a new neighbor watching closely, Cooper’s carefully managed life may be closer to collapse than ever.
