‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 & ‘VisionQuest’ Set For 2026

Marvel Television returned to its New York roots with a star-studded New York Comic Con presentation that gave fans a closer look at the next wave of live-action Disney+ series. The showcase featured updates on “Daredevil: Born Again,” the long-awaited “VisionQuest,” and a first trailer for “Wonder Man,” setting the stage for a massive 2026 slate across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For “Daredevil: Born Again,” Charlie Cox took the stage to discuss where the new season will find Matt Murdock — a hero forever torn between faith, justice, and the city that defines him. The crowd erupted when Krysten Ritter joined him, confirming her return to the MCU as Jessica Jones six years after her solo series ended. The duo shared an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming season, which is set to arrive on Disney+ in March 2026, and teased the darker, more interconnected storylines to come. Brad Winderbaum confirmed that a third season is already in development, signaling Marvel’s renewed focus on street-level storytelling.

The panel also featured Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley, who presented the first trailer for “Wonder Man,” directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The eight-episode series, debuting January 27, 2026, on Disney+, takes audiences behind the scenes of a superhero movie remake — a satirical look at fame, heroism, and Hollywood absurdity. Abdul-Mateen II and Kingsley discussed their chemistry on set, as well as the playful balance between action and self-awareness that defines the series.

During the Marvel Animation and Marvel Television panel, Brad Winderbaum had one final surprise up his sleeve. He brought out MCU veteran Paul Bettany, long beloved by fans as the Vision, to officially unveil “VisionQuest.” The upcoming Marvel Television series marks the final installment in the trilogy that began with “WandaVision” and continued with last year’s “Agatha All Along.” Fans were also treated to a sneak peek at early footage, revealing several key cast members: Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H.

James Spader also returns as Ultron, reprising his role from 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The footage teased both mechanical and human versions of the infamous AI, suggesting a deeper psychological clash between creator and creation. The trailer concluded with a brief shot of Ruaridh Mollica, appearing in a CCTV recording as Thomas Shepherd — the adult version of Vision and Wanda’s son, first seen as a child in “WandaVision.”
