'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Trailer: Kiernan Shipka Gets Her Swan Song As Netflix's Favorite Teenage Witch

It’s time for a happy birthday, but maybe it’s also a kind of graduation into the next realm, as the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” is coming to an end and its next season, is its final one. Part 4 of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” as it likes to be called, focuses on witches and covens and, you know, a big fight against the forces of darkness while balancing some teenage love in the process.

As you’re surely aware, the ensemble cast stars Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, Gavin Leatherwood, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, and Richard Coyle. The show has had some acclaim, but it’s also a costly effort with all the costumes and occulty witchcraft VFX, and it seems like Netflix doesn’t think the budgets vs. ratings justify its existence any longer. That said, it was a good run, and everyone cast and crew should probably be pretty happy with it.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult, and, of course, witchcraft. Over the course of Part 4’s eight episodes, The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness, to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?
