Showrunners are Benjamin Cavell and Taylor Elmore, who first worked together on “Justified,” and Boone directed the pilot episode. “The Stand” is obviously quite timely and will hit home: After the world is in ruins, due to a man-made plague, a battle of Biblical proportions ensues between the survivors.
