'Inception' Will Still Have Many More Surprises, A "Third Act Reveal"

Here’s a small update to the recently revealed “Inceptionsynopsis, but something we’ve been saying all along. Why was Warner Bros. cool with letting the L.A. Times “spoil” (or simply confirm earlier spoilers) the plot to “Inception”? We said that they’re OK with it the L.A. Times weren’t spoiling jack and the synopsis obviously reveals all the same info. Looks like we were right as a source reveals to Jeff Wells that there’s a “huge reveal in third act.” It’s what we presumed and we’re going to stand by our official guess: this one’s going to end and be similar in structure to “The Prestige,” which also had a pretty big third act reveal.

So, while most people have worried that the “Inception” synopsis has revealed too much, logically we can assume WB and Christopher Nolan have carefully parsed out every word in that statement and deduce the obvious: it reveals just as much as any regular film synopsis does — just the set-up and the first act. So fear not, Nolan fanboys (wait, that’s us!).
