After releasing two acclaimed horror films in barely a year, horror filmmaker Osgood Perkins is showing no signs of slowing down. His latest, “Keeper,” arrives in theaters November 14 via Neon, marking the filmmaker’s third feature in less than two years following “Longlegs” and “The Monkey.” The new trailer confirms that Perkins is on a remarkable creative streak — and his peers have taken notice.

The spot opens with a chilling roll call of endorsements from some of horror’s most respected voices. Guillermo del Toro hails the film as “horror origami that skillfully folds into itself,” James Wan calls it “a terrifying, ghostly descent into madness,” and Damien Leone adds that “Perkins further establishes himself as a formidable voice in horror.”
Starring Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, “Keeper” is described as “a dark trip” into obsession, loss, and psychological collapse. The trailer teases fragments of eerie monologues — “Is there any way to keep love alive?” and “I think he’s a keeper” — set against shadow-drenched rural imagery and creeping dread.
Following his chilling breakout “The Blackcoat’s Daughter,” Perkins has steadily carved a space among the genre’s most distinctive stylists. With “Keeper,” he continues his partnership with Neon, crafting a story that looks to blend the supernatural unease of “Longlegs” with the emotional decay of his earlier work.
