The official trailer has arrived for “Love, Brooklyn,” the modern romance that premiered to rave reviews at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Rachael Abigail Holder and written by Paul Zimmerman, the film stars André Holland (“Moonlight“), Nicole Beharie (“The Morning Show“), DeWanda Wise (“She’s Gotta Have It“), Roy Wood Jr. (“The Daily Show“), Cassandra Freeman (“Bel-Air“), and newcomer Cadence Reese.

Set against the rapidly evolving backdrop of Brooklyn, New York, “Love, Brooklyn” follows a writer (Holland) as he navigates a tangled love life involving his ex, an art gallery owner (Beharie), and his current partner, a newly single mother (Wise), while leaning on the support of his best friend (Wood Jr.).
Premiering earlier this year at Sundance, the film drew strong acclaim for its layered performances, authentic sense of place, and Holder’s assured directorial style. Holland, who also serves as a producer, was particularly praised for his nuanced portrayal of a man balancing love, loyalty, and ambition amid the shifting dynamics of a city in flux.
Produced by André Holland, Kate Sharp, Patrick Wengler, Maurice Anderson, and Liza Zusman, “Love, Brooklyn” also lists Steven Soderbergh among its executive producers, alongside Jeffrey Deary, Andy Steinman, Brian Katz, Thomas Zambeck, Alexander Leff, and Holder herself.
