“If it spreads, you’re dead.” The first teaser for “Cold Storage” is here, and it looks exactly like the kind of pulpy, B-movie-but-with-an-A-list-cast genre romp you’d expect from famed screenwriter David Koepp (“Jurassic Park,” “Spider-Man,” “Mission: Impossible”) and producer Gavin Polone (“Zombieland”).

The setup is pure contained chaos: when a highly contagious, mutating fungus escapes a sealed government facility, two low-level employees (Joe Keery, “Stranger Things,” and Georgina Campbell, “Barbarian”) are thrust into a nightmarish race to survive alongside a grizzled bioterror operative (Liam Neeson, yes, that Liam Neeson). Think “Resident Evil” meets “Outbreak” with a dash of Koepp’s sci-fi pedigree.
The teaser leans hard into gooey creature-feature vibes and lockdown tension, complete with Neeson loading a shotgun, ominous title cards (“If it spreads… you’re dead”), and shots of fungal bloom swallowing sterile hallways. It’s not prestige horror—it’s the kind of high-concept, late-summer “pure popcorn fun” Koepp has trafficked in for decades.
Produced by STUDIOCANAL and set for U.S. release via Samuel Goldwyn Films, “Cold Storage” arrives sometime in 2026 (exact date still TBD). Until then: buckle up.
