Reeves took to X to confirm that Sebastian Koch and Brian Tyree Henry will join the ensemble cast of his superhero sequel. He also confirmed the previously reported castings of Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Charles Dance. Reeves posted a short GIF of each actor on the social media platform, along with a brief note welcoming them to Gotham. The new cast members join returning Pattinson, as well as Andy Serkis‘ Alfred, Jeffrey Wright‘s James Gordon, and Colin Farrell‘s Oz Cobb/The Penguin on the upcoming picture.

Production on “The Batman: Part II” started last week, with Reeves teasing a wintry setting for the sequel with pics of the Batmobile driving through snowy streets. As for plot details? They remain under wraps for now. However, Reeves did confirm last Fall that the sequel’s villain has “never really been done in a movie before,” leading Batman fans to speculate who it could possibly be. Frontrunners include Hush, Dr. Hugo Strange, and the Court of Owls, but it could also be a lesser-known member of the Caped Crusader’s rogues gallery. Expect news on Batman’s latest foe later this year.
