Brat summer may have been over a year ago, but it’s still Charli XCX’s moment. But based on the new teaser for the music star’s upcoming film, she may not be too thrilled about that.
So what is “The Moment”? A Charli XCX documentary? A mockumentary? A time capsule of a star’s rise? A fictional take on the real burnout that happens on tour, or after you take over an entire summer? Maybe it’s all of the above, but ultimately, it’s also Charli XCX and a lot of her famous friends goofing around, so A24 will bet her fans will be hitting theaters to catch this one.
“The Moment” also stars Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Benton Gates, Isaac Powell, Rachel Sennott, and Alexander Skarsgård.
