‘Rabbit, Rabbit’: Will Poulter & Odessa Young Join Netflix’s Hostage Thriller Series With Adam Driver & Regina Hall

Netflix has added two of Hollywood’s fastest-rising stars to one of its buzziest upcoming series. Deadline reports that Will Poulter and Odessa Young will join Adam Driver and Regina Hall in the hostage thriller series “Rabbit, Rabbit.” The Netflix show is the brainchild of creator-showrunner Peter Craig, scribe of “The Batman” and “Dope Thief,” with “Adolescence” director Philip Barantini behind the camera.

Driver stars in “Rabbit, Rabbit” as J-Will, an escaped convict who takes several hostages at a truck stop while in a standoff against law enforcement. As J-Will tries to negotiate for his freedom, a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator, played by Hall, enters the mix, raising the stakes of an already dangerous situation to unprecedented levels. No word on who Poulter and Young will play yet, but expect details on their roles soon.

Given the cast and crew involved, “Rabbit, Rabbit” is one of Netflix’s most anticipated upcoming projects. Driver executive produces the series alongside Craig and Barantini; Barantino does so with Samantha Beddoe via their It’s All Made Up Productions banner, while Craig does with Bryan Unkeless through his Night Owl Stories. The show is a part of a first-look deal between Craig, Night Owl Stories and MRC.

Young’s recent TV credits include the Netflix thriller “Black Rabbit” and “The Narrow Road To The Deep North,” in which the actress starred opposite Jacob Elordi. She also had a supporting role in “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere.” Up next for Young? “Harmonia,” a cult mystery film that should hit theaters later this year.

Meanwhile, Poulter’s recent TV roles include FX‘s “The Bear” and an episode of the new season of “Black Mirror.” Poulter has been busy on the big screen, too, with major roles in “Warfare” and “Death Of A Unicorn” last year, and “Swift Horses” in 2024. He stars next in Boots Riley‘s “We Love Boosters,” in theaters this May after it has its world premiere as the opening film of SXSW 2026.

So when should Netflix subscribers expect “Rabbit, Rabbit” to premiere? Let’s call it early 2027.
