Here’s an official synopsis for “Landman” Season 2, courtesy of Paramount+:
As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris’ (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble — it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.
Along with Thornton and Moore, “Landman” S2 also stars Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore. Garcia and Elliott are the big new cast names this season, although Garcia’s Gallino was revealed in the S1 finale.
Stephen Kay directs “Landman” S2, with Sheridan co-writing the season with Christian Wallace. Sheridan also leads executive producers on the series with David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ronald Burkle, Bob Yari, Geyer Kosinski, Dan Friedkin, Jason Hoch, Scott Brown, Megan Creydt, Peter Feldman, Friedman, Kay, and J.K. Nickell.
