In November, after the likes of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” “Oppenheimer,” and “Barbie” vie for box office supremacy this summer, another blockbuster awaits: Denis Villeneuve‘s “Dune: Part Two.” If one of those three doesn’t unseat “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” as the highest-grossing film on 2023, Villeneuve’s sequel surely will. But “Dune” fans aren’t that concerned with box office numbers.
