Deadline reports that Emma Corrin, Hunter Schafer, Havana Rose Liu, and Sophie Wilde are the latest to join the cast, just two days after Josh Hutcherson, Frank Dillane, Caleb Landry Jones, and Whitmer Thomas hopped aboard. Stevenson directs a still-untitled script by her and Tim Smith, about a bachelor party that spirals into terror. It’s the director’s first film since last year’s “The First Omen,” which Stevenson and Smith also co-wrote together.

Lars Knudsen and Emily Hildner produce the pic via Square Peg, Knudsen’s banner with Ari Aster; Aster executive produces. Other producers include Smith, Harrison Huffman, and Christine D’Souza.

The four actresses joining the project are basically a who’s who of Hollywood’s next generation of rising talent. None of them are strangers to horror either: Corrin starred in Robert Eggers‘ “Nosferatu” last year; Schafer in Tilman Singer‘s “Cuckoo“; Rose Liu in the AI horror pic “Afraid“; and Wilde in the Phillipous‘ buzzy 2023 debut “Talk To Me.” Will Stevenson get a gutsy, riveting performance out of these women like Nell Tiger Free‘s in “The First Omen”? Count on it.

Other recent work for Corrin includes “100 Nights Of Hero,” “Deadpool & Wolverine,” and the main role in FX on Hulu‘s 2023 limited series “A Murder At The End Of The World.” Corrin also stars in Netflix‘s upcoming “Pride & Prejudice” adaptation, which should premiere on the streamer next year

Schafer, arguably the biggest star of the four, has “Euphoria” Season 3 and Prime Video‘s “Blade Runner 2099” with Michelle Yeoh on the way, as well as David Lowery‘s long-awaited “Mother Mary.” Other recent credits for her include “The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes” and a cameo in Yorgos Lanthimos‘ “Kinds Of Kindness.”

Rose Liu stars next in “Oh. What. Fun.,” Amazon MGM‘s Christmas comedy out next month. She also stars in “Tuner,” a thriller that had its world premiere at Telluride in August; Black Bear will release it in theaters next year. The actress’ breakout role came in 2023 in “Bottoms.”

As for Wilde, her other recent film credits include “The Portable Door” and “Babygirl“. Upcoming roles include “Watch Dogs,” based on the videogame franchise of the same name, Jeremy Saulnier‘s upcoming “October” (another buzzy A24 horror joint), and Alejandro Iñárritu‘s upcoming black comedy starring Tom Cruise.

Stay tuned for more details on Arksaha Stevenson’s latest as they arrive.
