Josh Gad and Kaya Scodelario star in the upcoming film as two siblings who discover more than they anticipate when they clean out their parents’ basement, and disposing of the problem proves more difficult than they anticipate.
Here’s an official synopsis for “Adulthood,” courtesy of Paramount:
When siblings Megan and Noah uncover a long-buried corpse in their parents’ basement, they stumble into a wildly escalating spiral of crime, cover-ups, and murder. The deeper they dig, the harder it becomes to escape.
Along with Gad and Scodelario, the film also stars Billie Lourd, Alex Winter, and Anthony Carrigan.
Alex Winter directs a script by Michael M.B. Galvin for “Adulthood.” Producers on the film include Michael Cho, Tim Lee, Danny Roberts, Jackie Langelier, H.S. Naji, Scott Kroopf, Winter, Russell Hollander, and Lisa Wolofsky.
