'The Mandalorian' Season 3 To Begin Airing On Disney+ In February 2023

Star Wars Celebration is finally back after the pandemic squashed previous plans to launch the huge fan event. The Lucasfilm panel revealed some new details about their upcoming wave of shows, including a new teaser trailer for “Rogue One” prequel series, “Andor.”

Their big landmark show, “The Mandalorian,” is also coming back and we now know when that will be. Lucasfilm has announced today that the third season of “The Mandalorian” will debut on Disney+ next February and will explore the further adventures of Pedro Pascal‘s Mando and his adorable little Jedi cohort, Grogu.

A teaser trailer was shown to the audience at Celebration, however, it’s unclear if the public will also get a good look at it anytime soon.

In “The Book of Boba Fett,” we saw little Grogu choose his Mandalorian papa over finishing his Jedi training with uncanny valley Luke Skywalker, reuniting the two for the upcoming season. There is also the Darksaber plot and we may see Bo-Katan and other surviving Mandalorians trying to seek out the item. Whoever wields the ancient weapon is essentially the ruler of the group of skilled warriors and Mando might see more challenges for it throughout the season.
