‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Actor Wilson Bethel Hopes Bullseye Nabs Next Special Presentation After Punisher: “From Your Lips To God’s Ears, Man”

This week marks the grand return of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen with the second season of Marvel Television‘s “Daredevil: Born Again,” and we’ll see actor Wilson Bethel back in the role of the dastardly Bullseye, the blind hero’s longtime deadly antagonist that was first introduced to audiences by Colin Farrell in the original feature film starring Ben Affleck.

Speaking with Variety, Bethel was directly asked if he’d be open to having his villain Bullseye get a similar special presentation treatment to Jon Bernthal‘s “The Punisher: One Last Kill” coming to Disney+ on May 12, and he sounds hella open to the idea.

“From your lips to God’s ears, man. I sure hope so,” the MCU actor said during the show’s red carpet premiere.

While Bethel’s Bullseye made his debut back during the Netflix era in Season 3 of the original show, he’s now been part of both seasons of “Daredevil: Born Again,” and, arguably, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, is one of Daredevil’s most recognizable and established franchise villains.

If anyone else deserved their own “A Marvel Special Presentation,” Bullseye is certainly a strong contender to be considered next. However, we’d likely have to hear from Marvel Television’s Brad Winderbaum about how realistic that could actually be and if they’re even willing to cook up new ideas for future special presentations beyond “One Last Kill.”
