Boston besties Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have reunited for the new Joe Carnahan cop thriller, which is heading to Netflix next week. “The Rip” focuses on a group of Miami cops who stumble upon a stash house holding millions in cash from criminal activities, and the ethical challenges they face.
A new trailer for the upcoming streaming feature has been released. Others on the film’s call sheet include actors such as Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, and Kyle Chandler.

Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question, including who they can rely on.
Carnahan also wrote the script after cracking the story with Michael McGrale. The producing team assembled for “The Rip” features Affleck, Damon, Dani Bernfeld, and Luciana Damon alongside executive producers Kevin Halloran and Michael Joe of Artists Equity.
