‘Outcome’ First Look: Jonah Hill Directs Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer & More In Hollywood-Set Blackmail Pic Arriving April 10

Possibly taking a page from “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” and “The Studio,” Jonah Hill‘s next feature directorial effort, “Outcome,” focuses on a movie star, played by Keanu Reeves (“Good Fortune”), who ends up blackmailed, which could end up destroying his career and reputation. First look photos from the upcoming film have made their way online (via Gold Derby) as the movie is set to debut on Apple TV this April.

The rest of the cast includes Cameron Diaz (“Gangs of New York”), Matt Bomer (“The Nice Guys”), Hill, Martin Scorsese (“The Studio”), Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, and Ivy Wolk.

Hill’s previous credits include the skateboarding coming-of-age flick “Mid90s,” “Stutz,” an episode of the HBO dramatic sports series “Winning Time,” and his next movie at Warner Bros., “Cut Off,” featuring silbiings cut off by their rich parents (stars Kristen Wiig, Hill, Nathan Lane, Bette Midler, Chelsea Peretti, and Camila Cabello) is heading to theaters on July 17.

A synopsis for “Outcome,” which has a script penned by Hill and writing partner Ezra Woods (the two also worked together on “Cut Off”):

Reef Hawk (Reeves), a hugely popular movie star whose carefully curated life begins to unravel when he’s blackmailed with a mysterious video that could destroy his reputation and career. Leaning on his lifelong friends Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Hill), Reef sets out to uncover who’s behind the threat. What starts as damage control quickly becomes a personal journey, forcing him to revisit his past and try to make amends with people he may have wronged along the way.
