After playing baddies in “Sinners” and “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple,” Irish actor Jack O’Connell has been announced for the third mainline installment of John Krasinski‘s sci-fi horror film franchise “A Quiet Place,” as the writer/director has revealed the new and returning group of actors enlisted for “A Quiet Place Part III.” Production is just around the corner.
Other names confirmed by an official social media post made by Krasinski include Jason Clarke (“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”) and Katy O’Brian (“The Running Man,” “The Mandalorian”). An excellent new trio of additions that we are happy to see helping to flesh out the mainline franchise. That’s not it, as Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy (“Oppenheimer”) is back after being introduced in the second pic alongside franchise stars Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe as the remaining members of the Abbott Family.

The main gist of the post-apocalypse setting of “A Quiet Place” features a world where vicious alien creatures hunt and kill people based on noise that triggers their aggression. Human survivors have learned to continue living very carefully, some in small pacts or full-on communities.
There was a third film with “A Quiet Place: Day One” that saw writer/director Michael Sarnoski behind it after crafting a story with Krasinski. That one starred Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn in lead roles as it explored what happened in a massive city like New York City when the aliens arrived.
Paramount Pictures has previously given “A Quiet Place Part III” a prime release date next summer on July 30, 2027.
So proud to be a part of this #AQuietPlace family… old and new! Here we go!
