Kate Beckinsale, the British actress known as the face of the vampire franchise “Underworld,” is leading a new action thriller “Wildcat” coming this November from director James Nunn (“One Shot”) with “Mortal Kombat” star Lewis Tan (returning as Cole in WB‘s “Mortal Kombat II” next year) among the cast as well.
“Wildcat” mixes all sorts of action tropes into a single film, penned by Dominic Burns with a ransom featuring a child, heist, highly trained ex-black ops members, martial arts fighting, and an attempt to frame a rather ruthless criminal syndicate.

Other actors featured in the upcoming actioner include Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones,” “Godzilla: King of The Monsters,” “Alien 3”), Tom Bennett (“House of the Dragon”), Alice Krige (“Star Trek: First Contact”), Edmund Kingsley (“The Witcher”), and Matt Willis (“Missing You”).
The official logline for the new Beckinsale pic provided by Aura Entertainment (also behind “Trap House“):
An ex-black ops team reunites to pull off a desperate heist and save an eight-year-old girl’s life. They have only 12 hours to navigate the lethal streets amidst a citywide riot, pay a large ransom, and frame a dangerous criminal organization.
It’s always nice to see Beckinsale kicking ass and taking names in movies, so we’re certainly happy to see her back in the saddle. A new trailer for “Wildcat” shared with us can be viewed below, as the action thriller is headed to both theaters and digital on November 25.
