We can now share a trailer for the upcoming Gaza rescue drama “The Voice of Hind Rajab,” as the acclaimed picture is heading to U.S. theaters, in Los Angeles and New York City, starting on December 17 before a national rollout, and is looking like one of the strong contenders attempting to secure a Best International Film win next year at the Oscars ceremony.
The film, in cooperation with The Palestine Red Crescent Society, hailing from writer/director Kaouther Ben Hania is Tunisia’s official selection for Best International Film at the 98th Academy Awards, with other previous accolades including winning the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival, winning the audience award at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and winning the Silver Hugo: Jury Prize at the Chicago International Film Festival.

January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 5-year-old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
Saja Kilani, Motaz Malhees, Clara Khoury, and Amer Hlehel lead the film’s cast with a producing team led by Nadim Cheikhrouha, Odessa Rae, and James Wilson. It also has an impressive group of executive producers that consists of Elizabeth Woodward, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Jonathan Glazer, and Alfonso Cuarón.
