Today, Netflix promoted its massive slate of feature films and television series during their big event Tudum. The streamer showcased various clips, teasers, and behind-the-scenes footage for some of their original movies, such as action projects with big names attached in lead roles.
Chris Hemsworth introduced behind-the-scenes footage (see below) for “Extraction 2,” as the Aussie actor returns as Tyler Rake in the action-packed sequel to Netflix’s blockbuster action film “Extraction” that has moved its setting to Eastern Europe. Hemsworth reunites with stuntman-turned-director Sam Hargrave and Joe and Anthony Russo’s AGBO producing and Joe Russo writing. Additional producers include Mike Larocca, Hemsworth, Patrick Newall, and Hargrave, with Angela Russo-Otstot, Jake Aust, Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus, and Stephen McFeely.

Golshifteh Farahani will reprise her role from the first film, with Daniel Bernhardt (“John Wick”) and Tinatin Dalakishvili being enlisted for supporting roles.
Netflix also provides a synopsis of Rake’s latest mission:
“After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.”
